The Argentine Center of Engineers (CAI) invites those interested in attending the "Cities" Cycle, to reserve their vacancy to enjoy that meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, March 29, at 5:00 p.m. :00 to 18:30 hours. Thus, they will be part of this interesting event, developed in person at the CAI Library, and virtually, through the ZOOM platform. On the occasion, the theme "New Energy Labeling of homes in Argentina and the international experience" will be discussed. The βCitiesβ cycle is co-organized by the CAI, the World Council of Civil Engineers (WCCE) and our Civil Engineering Professional Council (CPIC).
The keynote speakers to this event will be:
- Arch. Irma Padilla, energy efficiency adviser for the National Energy Secretariat for the National Housing Labeling Program (PRONEV);
- Architect Paola Sandoval, adviser on energy efficiency of the National Secretariat of Energy for the National Housing Labeling Program (PRONEV);
- Eng. Jorge A. Caminos, Secretary of Ecosystem Development and Climate Change of Santa Fe;
- Eng. MarΓa del Carmen Rubio, Director of Project Evaluation and Regulation of the Secretary of Electric Power of RΓo Negro;
- Architect BΓ‘rbara Lanstchner, specialist in Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Architecture, Certified European Passiv Haus Consultant, BREEAM AP and specialist in Energy Rehabilitation;
- and Arch. York Ostermeyer, co-founder and managing director, ChillServices.
The moderators will be Eng. Juan Yacopino, president of the Urban Planning and Housing Commission of the Argentine Center of Engineers, and Eng. MartΓn Borghi, member of the Urban Planning and Housing Commission of the CAI.
